The City of Wanneroo closed the park and removed playground equipment in September after severe storms caused erosion on the Quinns Rocks foreshore.
Last week, the City repositioned the 1.8m security fence closer to the drop-off from the park to the beach, replaced the playground soft-fall with a sand pit and installed a double-swing set.
Mayor Tracey Roberts said the City was also putting three benches in the park and the actions were part of its commitment to give residents access to Quinns Beach.
‘It is just a fabulous location and it is a really nice beach as well,’ Mrs Roberts said.
‘This is a wonderful place that is enjoyed by our residents so we will do everything we can to speed up this process.’
Mrs Roberts said the council expected a report would go to the December council meeting.
‘We have repeatedly called on the State Government for vital funding to fix the erosion problem at Quinns beach,’ she said.
