Petition report out

Following multiple questions from a councillor at last week’s briefing session, the City’s infrastructure director Dennis Blair said staff would not be able to source all the information before August 19.

The report had recommended the City take no action to remove or change the bumps, and notify organisers of the 119-signature petition.

However, Cr Sabine Winton asked for more details on why they were installed in the first place, where the signatories lived, how many complaints were made, how many people were consulted and how many other roads had similar treatments.
