Staff WriterNorth Coast Times

TRAFFIC police have appealed for people who helped a police officer following a crash last month to contact Crime Stoppers.

Traffic Enforcement Group officers want to speak to anyone who assisted a police officer after a crash in Yanchep about 8.50am on Thursday, March 21.

The officer was riding a police motorcycle in a westerly direction along Old Yanchep Road when his motorcycle struck the soft shoulder near Wanneroo Road and he was thrown from it.

The officer was travelling at slow speed at the time of the crash, received non-life-threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to Joondalup Health Campus.
