Staff WriterNorth Coast Times

POLICE have charged six motorcycle riders for alleged reckless driving on Indian Ocean Drive recently.

Traffic enforcement officers allege the offences occurred in Gabbadah about 11.30am on August 30 when a speed camera detected six motorcycles close to one another travelling at high speed near Sovereign Hill Drive.

“A fixed site speed camera at that location captured the six motorcycles travelling allegedly between 165km/h and up to 187km/h,” WA Police spokesman Sergeant Andrew Maher said.

“Police made contact with all six owners and identified the riders.”
