A MAN in his 20s was taken to Joondalup Health Campus after rolling his car during a police pursuit in Butler this morning.

About 2am the man’s dark-coloured sedan rolled at the intersection of Kingsbridge and Marchwood boulevards.

Local resident Alison Buys said she was woken by a loud crash.

When she looked outside she saw a police car and the overturned vehicle.

“Within three minutes there was an ambulance and more police on the scene,” Ms Buys said.

“I stood outside for over an hour.

“This morning I saw they’d taken out the street light and hit into a tree.

“They’ve covered the road with sand.”

Police said no charges had been laid at this stage.
