Politicians track Mitchell Freeway extension progress

The group to tour the site included City of Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts and chief executive Daniel Simms, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Darren Chester, Social Services Minister Christian Porter, Environment Minister Albert Jacob, Moore MHR Ian Goodenough and Wanneroo MLA Paul Miles.

Mrs Roberts said the project was making progress and on track for its mid-2017 completion.

“It’s exciting to see the freeway construction taking shape,” she said.

Work on the project will stop temporarily over the Anzac Day long weekend and recommence on April 27.
