Proposal for five-storey development in Butler to be considered

Lucy JarvisNorth Coast Times

THE North West Metropolitan Development Assessment Panel will consider plans for a mixed use, five storey development in Butler on Wednesday.

The panel will meet in Wanneroo from 2.30pm on July 19 to consider a report recommending it approve the proposed development at 205 Butler Boulevard.

The proposal includes eight commercial tenancies, 67 dwellings, 110 parking bays and communal areas that make up about 34 per cent of the site.

During public consultation earlier this year, the City of Wanneroo received two submissions objecting to the proposal based on visual privacy and parking concerns.
