Public submissions invited on retrospective approval for Yanchep golf course fence

Lucy JarvisNorth Coast Times

THE City of Wanneroo has invited public comment on an application for retrospective development approval for golf course fencing at the Sun City Country Club in Yanchep.

The club controversially installed fencing last year, saying it was to keep kangaroos out and to deter vandals and people illegally driving on the course.

The application to the City seeks approval for chain mesh fencing on the club’s land, adjacent and parallel to the boundaries abutting the residential properties between 3-41 Parkland Drive, at 1 and 3 Bunker Crescent and at 3 Birdie Grove.
