As part of State Budget announcements on Thursday, the Government approved a 2.6 per cent increase " rounded to the nearest 10 cents " to standard fares.

Student fares will remain at 60 cents, concession remains at 40 per cent of standard fares and there was no change to the $2 per day parking fee.

Seniors, disability and age pensioner cardholders and carers will still be eligible for free travel on weekdays between 9am and 3.30pm, and any time on weekends and public holidays.
