Quilts made with love

Staff ReporterNorth Coast Times

The Harbourside Quilters started 10 years ago at Harbourside Village and has made quilts for various projects including the Free the Bears fund and a women’s refuge.

Coralie Clarke, an experienced quilter, started teaching the group how to quilt at Harbourside and is now a resident too.

‘It’s a joint effort and we use scraps from a quilt shop I used to own as well as other materials that group members bring in,’ she said.
