Quinns Rocks: free community walk to educate about Noongar season Bunuru

Lucy JarvisNorth Coast Times

PERTH Natural Resource Management will host a free community walk in Quinns Rocks this month to teach people about the Noongar season Bunuru.

Bindi Bindi Dreaming guide Marissa Verma will lead the February 19 walk and participants can learn about the role the six seasons played in the yearly cycle of travel and resource collection for Noongar people.

The walk will go where they would have been during this season and what resources were available for food, medicines and materials.
