Quinns Rocks Indoor Bowling Club celebrates 40th anniversary

Staff WriterNorth Coast Times

THE Quinns Rocks Indoor Bowling Club recently celebrated its 40th anniversary at Gumblossom Community Centre.

Fred Manners opened the club on February 5, 1979 in a long tin shed with an uneven floor and it started with 12 members and an income of $22.

Many years later the entire premises was rebuilt and expanded, accommodating more indoor games such as snooker, badminton, table tennis and pool.
