Quinns Rocks man facing drugs, firearms charges

A Quinns Rocks man has been charged with a series of drug and firearm offences after a police raid on Thursday.

Clarkson police executed a search warrant at a Gordon Avenue address, where they allegedly found a firearm, gun parts, methylamphetamine, cannabis and various drug paraphernalia.

A 43-year-old man has been charged with possessing a prohibited weapon, possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession of unlicensed ammunition.

In addition to the firearms charges, he faces three counts of possessing drug paraphernalia, two counts of cannabis possession with intent to supply, two counts of methylamphetamine possession and one count of cultivating cannabis.

He is due to appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court on May 18.
