Mr Lofdahl spoke at Butler College and Merriwa Primary School services this month, ahead of the main dawn service on April 25.
“We will be involving the local children in that service, singing the Australian and New Zealand anthems and reciting In Flanders Fields,” he said.
“Once again we will have a choir made up of the local school children.”

“The service will centre on the Western Front,” Mr Lofdahl said.
“At the same time, we will remember our current Defence Force people.
“We are looking at a good crowd, possibly not as many as last year; that was a very special time.”
The Vietnam veteran said his speech on Monday would focus on battles fought on the Western Front and what the Anzac Spirit means today.
