Andrew ‘Fishtail’ Fisher is visiting high schools talking about making the right life choices.

Andrew ‘Fishtail’ Fisher visited Quinns Baptist College on May 10 with the Jesus Racing Team’s life choices program after competing in the Auto 1 V8 Ute Championships the previous weekend.

His fast-paced multimedia presentation covered topics such as smoking, drinking, drugs, cyberspace, teenage sex, road safety and faith.

‘Students are open to my opinion ” it’s funny because my opinion is not far removed from that of their principal teacher or parent but because what I do is deemed to be exciting, cool and somewhat dangerous my message resonates with the students and they take what I say on board,’ Mr Fisher said.

‘I am not there to judge them as that would be wrong and would actually have a negative impact.

‘I say to them that if they want to smoke, or drink, or have sex, that is their choice but make that decision based on the facts, not emotion or your friends’ opinion.’
