Ramping up project security

Over recent weeks unauthorised after-hours access has caused safety concerns and delays to the project.

‘Last week we lost almost half a day of work on the ramp because of damage caused by people accessing the ramp after work had finished for that day,’ he said

‘In one instance it was fishermen who meant no harm, but still undid a lot of our preparatory works.

‘On other occasions the intent appears to have been more sinister with large gang hooks being placed in the water in an effort to slow down the divers.
