Recycle run-down in Quinns Rocks

Lucy JarvisNorth Coast Times

Spokeswoman Renata Zelinova said the free November 15 workshop would look at techniques of resurfacing old trays, mugs, jars, cans, plastic bottles, boxes and files using serviettes, stamps, old wrapping paper and other materials.

“There will also be many other inspiring examples for upcycling old clothes, curtains and other items in your household,” she said.

People will make rugs from old clothes, upcycle old jewellery and lunch wraps and food container covers from fabric remnants.

The workshop is from 1.30pm to 4.30pm at Gumblossom Community Centre, Tapping Way, Quinns Rocks.
