Rezoning may pave way for dental clinic

Wanneroo City Council has asked the Planning Minister to grant final approval after adopting amendments to rezone two lots from ‘centre’ to ‘commercial’ and a third from ‘residential’ to ‘commercial’.

According to a May 28 council report, the owner of 5 Village Row wanted to expand the current building, which includes a medical centre, office, hairdresser and pharmacy, and one concept plan would include a dental surgery.

The owner also planned to use the adjacent block, which is currently vacant, for parking to accommodate the expansion.
