POLICE are investigating a suspicious fire that burned close to homes in Ridgewood on Australia Day.
According to the Arson Squad, the fire started about 11.45pm on January 26 in an area bounded by Kilkee Street, Tinglewood Boulevard and the rail line.
A number of nearby residents saw the flames and Department of Fire and Emergency Services attended and were able to extinguish the fire.
