Ridgewood Reserve public comment period draws to close

A PUBLIC comment period for plans to expand the clubrooms at Ridgewood Reserve will close on November 2.

The City of Wanneroo has invited submissions on the $421,000 project to expand the existing changerooms by 100sq m to include a multi-purpose room.

In June, the Quinns Districts Amateur Football Club, or Bulls, withdrew its business case for a bigger extension, asking the City to bring forward the timeline for construction from 2017-18.

Its previous request for an extension of between 270-421sq m would have delayed construction by at least a year.

The facilities are also used by the Ridgewood Little Athletics Centre in summer.
