Peter Moyes Anglican Community School year 7-9s are staging their take on Romeo and Juliet at the Allan Shaw Centre on August 19 and 20, 7.30pm.

‘The musical is full of dark humour,’ head of drama Peta Flanigan said.

‘Shakespeare’s star-crossed lovers are having some supernatural problems.

‘The Montgomerys are a family of zombies and their sworn enemies, the Decapitates, are zombie hunters.’

Ms Flanigan said 30 middle-school students had worked tirelessly to create a fun and entertaining show.
