AUTHOR and radio copywriter Josh Langley will launch his seventh book, Find Your Creative Mojo: How to Overcome Fear, Procrastination and Self-Doubt to Express Your True Self, in Clarkson next week.
In May this year, Mr Langley won Small Publisher’s Children’s Book of The Year, at the country’s biggest book awards, the ABIAs.
His latest book sees him return to writing for adults with a different look at creativity and why it is important for people to express themselves.
“I want to show that everyone is important enough to say what they want to say, to find their creative expression, no matter who they are,” Langley said.
Growing up in Perth, he overcame failing high school and long-term unemployment to go on to have a 20-year career in radio having worked at 6PR and 96fm, winning two Australian Commercial Radio Awards.
Langley also started his own creative agency, publishing seven books and tours primary schools talking to children about creativity and resilience.
The book launch will be at Samsara World, 47 Boranup Avenue in Clarkson, on Saturday, December 8 from 6pm to 7.30pm.
The event will include light refreshments, nibbles and a talk by the author. People can also buy the book and have it signed.
