“We want to provide the community with a fun-filled event that really showcases the natural beauty that Two Rocks has to offer,” he said.

Mr Rawlings said Sandy Paws reflected the laid-back lifestyle on offer in the area and the close-knit nature of the community.

“A morning walk along the beach with your dog is one of the highlights of living so close to the ocean,” he said.

“Sandy Paws will bring the community together where they can socialise with other dog owners.

“Each week we’ve got a different line-up – most are local businesses.

“Different community groups will be selling fresh barbecued bacon and egg burgers to raise funds.” A range of market stalls will sell dog treats and products, including collars, leads and dog toys. There will also be coffee, juice and ice cream for sale.
