IF the winds blow the right way, Santa could fly into Jindalee a little earlier this year.
Chippy’s Beach Shack owner Rebecca Hutton said the cafe had invited Santa to join its ‘Christmas Snow Party’ on December 19, and he might arrive in a powered parachute again.
“Like last year, Santa can’t fly unless the wind speed is safe, so he might need to visit another day before Christmas,” she said.
“We will be able to make an announcement on Santa’s arrival a few days beforehand on our Facebook page.
“Santa will also be at the snow party with some small gifts for the kids.”
The foreshore cafe will also host a free community event on Australia Day, January 26, with waterslides, a bouncy castle, face painting and live entertainment.
