School blessed by Archbishop

Archbishop Roger Herft and the Anglican Schools Commission chief executive Peter Laurence visited the site in Alkimos Beach estate on February 20.

‘The blessing of the site and commissioning of our foundation principal Adrian Pree is the first milestone for St James’ Anglican School,’ Mr Laurence said.

‘With site works beginning shortly, it will be a busy 11 months of construction with our first students starting classes at the beginning of next year.’

About 150 people attended last week’s ceremony, opened by custodian and traditional owner of Whadjuk Nyungar country Ingrid Cumming.
