School holiday activities for kids

The City will host several free and paid activities in its April holiday program, including an urban art and soccer competition at the Hainsworth Youth Centre in Girrawheen this Thursday.

For those who haven�t had their fill of Easter treats, there will be an �Epic Easter Eggstravaganza� at the Clarkson Youth Centre on April 16 from 1 to 5pm.

National Youth Week will run from April 10 to 19.

Free activities include a circus skills workshop at the Sprout Hub in Alkimos on Sunday. There will be recycled art workshops at the Hainsworth Youth Centre on April 13, Clarkson Youth Centre on April 15 and Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre on April 17.

On April 17, seven- to 17- year-olds can learn about making apps, websites, games and playing with robotics in the Coder Dojo workshop at the Sprout Hub.

Paid activities include indoor bowling today, a skate part trip tomorrow, Caversham Wildlife Park excursion on Friday, indoor go-karting on April 14, ice skating on April 15 and supa golf on April 17.

There will also be multi-sport activities at Wanneroo Recreation Centre and Gumblossom Community Centre in Quinns Rocks between April 13 and 17.
