School to get $8.8m gym

Staff ReporterNorth Coast Times

The Catholic Education Commission of WA last month approved the building, allowing the school and architects, Parry and Rosenthal, to finalise the design and start its tender process.

Principal Robert Marshall said the approval was long-awaited, and they expected to start building in January so the gym could open at the start of the 2016 school year.

‘The new building will provide excellent facilities for our 900 students, as well as a venue for whole school masses, assemblies and formal occasions such as the college awards night and Year 12 graduation,’ he said.
