School’s cheerleading squad looks for support

Staff ReporterNorth Coast Times

Inaugural Year 8 students at Butler College started their squad earlier this year, according to teacher Corrinne Rogers, and have been routinely learning the steps every Monday morning.

‘Students have shown a keen interest in the performing arts, along with a strong bond to celebrate and support their school’s success,’ Miss Rogers said.

‘The squad was created at the beginning of the school year and will continue through to Year 12 for all students who are interested in a fun, exciting, energetic, physically activities and friendship building activity.
