‘We are very healthy on numbers,’ he said.

‘There is a tendency for more in K to 3, but it is surprisingly high in 4, 5 and 6.

‘At the moment we have got 26 in Year 4, 25 in Year 5 and 12 in Year 6.’

Mr Jarman said they recently received the keys to the school, furniture deliveries had started and they had chosen a nature playground design for the Kindergarten and Pre-Primary area.

‘We are treating it as an outdoor learning area.’

The $14 million school on Lindsay Beach Boulevard will eventually accommodate 460 students.
