Shire of Gingin opens survey on Guilderton parking solutions

THE Shire of Gingin is running a public survey on how to address parking and maintenance issues at the Guilderton foreshore until June 16.

Last year the Shire proposed to introduce paid parking at the foreshore to help offset the cost of maintaining foreshore facilities and services during peak seasons, as well as manage parking congestion.

After residents expressed concern about the impact of that proposal, the council resolved to reconsider the introduction of paid parking and seek further community input.
