LANCELIN’S foreshore redevelopment has received a $250,000 federal funding boost.
The Shire of Gingin will fund the other half of the $500,000 redevelopment, which chief executive Aaron Cook said would enhance the vibrancy of the town.
“This project, coupled with the ongoing upgrade of the Lancelin Caravan Park, will do wonders for tourism in Lancelin,” Mr Cook said.
Pearce MHR Christian Porter said the funding provided through the Federal Government’s Community Development Grants Program, would see significant upgrades to Cunliffe Street, Hopkins Street and Grace Darling Park.
