The Chilli Festival at The Boat will feature all things chilli, according to Mindarie Marina marketing and events manager Sarah Mallah.

Ms Mallah said there would be chilli plants, oils, sweets, savouries, condiments and drinks at the April 18 festival.

She said the Muchos Mariachi Band would perform from 1pm to 3pm, while roving entertainers and a celebrity chef would provide more entertainment.

This is going to be a sizzling hot day, she said.

The festival will run from noon to 5pm, and items for sale will include Living Gifts chilli hampers, oyster shucker Andrew Warner, Habaneros 4 Gringos with his super-hot sauces, Matsos chilli beers and Hot Pot Popcorn.
