SKATE competitions, sports clinics and musical performances form part of the annual Butler Bonanza celebrations this month.

Held at Kingsbridge Reserve on January 20, the free youth event promises a great variety of activities for young people aged 10 and older.

There will be cultural and hip-hop dance acts, video games, a bouncy castle, sumo suits, free barbecue, a modelling stage performance and displays by local community groups.

“The event is a chance for our community to come together and celebrate our youth,” she said.

“Come down and enjoy being entertained by local music artists with a full stage line-up featuring West Australian Youth Jazz Orchestra with Premiss Collective MCs headlining at 7pm.

“There will be sports clinics run by West Coast Eagles, WACA and Football West plus Freestyle Now are running a skate, scooter and BMX competition with registrations starting from 1pm.”

The event is organised by the City of Wanneroo and Satterley’s Brighton Estate and will run from 1pm to 8pm.
