St Andrew’s Catholic Primary celebrates 10 years as Waterwise school

ST Andrew’s Catholic Primary School in Clarkson recently celebrated 10 years enrolled in Water Corporation’s Waterwise Schools Program.

As part of the program, teachers at the school have been educating students on the need to value, protect and conserve water resources for a decade.

Waterwise co-ordinator Alison Campbell said since 2006, students had increased their awareness of issues related to using water efficiently.

She said that included “the vital need for water to keep our body healthy and the important environmental issue of protecting our water bodies from water contamination”.
