Stay off boardwalk until it’s ‘cured’

Staff ReporterNorth Coast Times

It issued a notice this month that the boardwalk, also known as the skybridge, would reopen once it applied an anti-slip treatment

‘Base coats of the anti-slip treatment have been applied and the final coat is ready for application,’ it said.

‘However, while residents and visitors continue to ignore directives to stay off the boardwalk, the final coat cannot be applied. The final application cannot be disturbed during the curing process and people must stay off the boardwalk to allow curing to occur correctly.’
