Stolen Generation remembered

Brighton Catholic Primary School held the event for Reconciliation Week on May 26, with students participating in a smoke ceremony.

Aboriginal teaching assistant Bradley Barbuto said students also planted individual paper hands around the school emblem and an Aboriginal Elder gave the Welcome to Country. National Sorry Day has been held on May 26 since 1998 in recognition of the Stolen Generation.
