Story session to recognise Disability Awareness Week at Wanneroo Library

CITY of Wanneroo will recognise Disability Awareness Week through a story sharing session at the Wanneroo Library on Tuesday, December 5.

Attendees can hear from several people including locals who live with a disability, in an event where books ‘come to life’.

Several ‘human books’ will share their experiences through stories and conversations during the free session.

The City is working with the Human Library Organisation in order to help the wider community understand the challenges and triumphs of people who live with a disability.

Book at https://livingbooksdaw.eventbrite.com.au.

Light snacks and tea and coffee will be provided.
