CLARKSON Primary School is running a Christmas can challenge this term to fill hampers for charity.

School chaplain Laura Butshiire and Year 6 student Blair Ferguson are organising the collection of non-perishable food items, which will be donated to True North Community Care in Mullaloo for Christmas food hampers.

They have asked people to donate canned foods, flour, sugar, Christmas crackers, biscuits, long-life milk, tea and coffee before week eight, which is in early December.

The donations box is in the front office of the school on Aldersea Circle.
