More than 1000 students from schools around WA too part in this year’s event, making it the biggest in the camp’s history.

Mathematics teacher Adam Lewis coordinated the team of Year 9 and 10 students during training and at the Country Week camp, with support from other teachers.

“Our netball, soccer and basketball teams showed off their skills, narrowly missing out on a finals berth,” teacher Claire Carmichael said.

“The mixed soccer team won a place in A division and finished fourth.

“Our girls’ netball team gained a place in E division and finished fourth, and our boys’ basketball team won a place in A division and finished sixth.”
