The school participated in the Adidas School Fun Run in June, organised by Keri Ball, who said it encouraged students to get excited about physical activity.
Deputy principal Lisa Collie said the school had raised $857 so far through online donations, but was still collecting cash donations.
‘The students have until the end of term to return their sponsorship forms and we are hoping that we raise something similar to last year, which was about $8000,’ she said.
