Students step back in time to the crazy ‘80s

Peter Moyes Anglican Community School's head of dance and drama Peta Flanigan said the production showcased the music, dance and drama skills of young performers.

"Set in the '80s, an era encompassing wacky outfits and crazy hairstyles, Fame Jr centres around the lives of talented students at The High School of Performing Arts in New York City.

"Growing up in the '80s decade was a fantastic experience and directing and producing this show has brought back so many wonderful memories from my youth," she said. "It's been an amazing to work with such a talented selection of students ranging from Year 5 through to Year 12."

The school will stage the show from 7.30pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at its Allan Shaw Centre Auditorium.
