The triathlon is open to trios of all ages and involves a 50m swim, 2km run and a dinghy race.
Atlantis Beach Estate has sponsored the competition and project director Jarrod Rendell said it was a great pre-Christmas event for families.
“We expect several local teams to compete on the day, which will be a fantastic spectator event for locals to enjoy,” he said.
