Suspicious fire being investigated

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services reported that career and volunteer firefighters attended the fire north of Pipidinny Road after receiving a report about 2.10pm on January 28.

While there was no threat to homes or lives, DFES advised motorists to avoid the area. Firefighters remained at the scene yesterday cleaning up and patrolling the area, and the cause is being investigated.
