Quinns Rocks tranisitioning to sustainability training workshop this Sunday

Spokesman David Wake said the September 20 talk would look at the transition town movement.

“Many local communities around the world are developing transition initiatives in response to environmental and economic challenges,” he said.

“Climate change, habitat loss, increasing resource use and a growing population in a finite world point to the need for change.”

The workshop will follow the 30-year-old group’s AGM from 1.30pm at Gumblossom Community Centre on Tapping Way, Quinns Rocks.
