The Clarkson students are rallying together in support of a classmate recently diagnosed with cancer as well other school community members directly affected by the disease.

Year 3 teacher Jacqui Cooney has organised the event at the school for the past seven years.

‘Every year, we get the parents to come in on morning tea day with their children’s class and share a morning tea and make a donation,’ she said.

‘Everyone is getting a lot more involved and putting in such a big effort to support the whole school community.’
