TELETHON fundraiser Scott Guerini (11) is presenting five free workshops for other children in Alkimos this month.

Scott first walked 25km to raise funds for the charity when he was four years old and has continued to walk each year, covering a marathon distance the past four times.

He has written a book, Did you know you can change the world?, to inspire children to help others.

The workshops stem from a partnership with the Alkimos Beach Seedling Fund and Propel Youth Arts WA, and Scott works with up to 15 participants in each session.

There are still spaces available in the January 29 and 30 workshops, which will take place at the Alkimos Pop Up Library from 10-11.30am.

Participants aged seven to 15 will receive a copy of the book to work through while thinking of ways to help others, then create artworks on how they could change the world.

Organisers plan to display the artworks in February and donate $20 to Telethon for each book used.
