The heat is back on at Mindarie Marina Chilli Festival

TASTEBUDS will heat up at Mindarie Marina this month with the return of the annual Chilli Festival.

The venue will host more than 20 chilli-themed market stalls on February 24, selling a range of products including chilli plants, sauces, relish, jerky, donuts, honey, spices and oil.

There will be street food stalls, roving entertainers including the Muchos Mariachi band, a DJ on the boardwalk and a chilli eating competition from 3pm.

The festival will run from noon to 5pm, with Indian Ocean Brewing Co brewers Jack Purser and Brody Watts releasing their chilli beer on the day.

There will also be a free children’s zone with jumping castle, roller racer, airbrush tattoos and bubble zone, plus live music from Chilli Con Curly, Ella Fidelity and UB40 Tribute at the pubs.
