FIREWORKS will light up the sky in Mindarie this New Year’s Eve.

The Marina, Mindarie will host its second year of fireworks on December 31 after an almost 10-year break before the 2017 event.

Event organisers encourage attendees to car pool, take public transport, Uber or walk to the free, family-friendly event, sponsored by Burns Beach Estate.

They reminded attendees that the event will take place in a licensed area and therefore no food and drinks are permitted to be brought in.
