Amberton estate developer Stockland has created a fenced track with a crushed limestone surface that people can drive on to a car park, and then walk along a short path to the beach.

Resident Belinda Nimmo said the beach access pathway would allow her family to spend more time enjoying their coastal location.

"Weve lived at Amberton since October 2013," she said.

Being near the beach was an important factor for us when we were deciding where to live, especially since we have three young children.
