Thumbs-up for school’s aqua uniform

The future students tried on their uniforms over four days earlier this month, and principal Andy Gorton said it was a milestone.

“The opportunity to see our students finally wearing their fantastic new uniform was worth the wait,” he said.

“(It) was supported by excellent comments from students and families alike about just how smart these look.

“It’s now the realisation for students that their new school is not too far away.

“The atmosphere was busy yet positive – just like we hope our school to be.”

Due to open in February, the school has a navy uniform with aqua side stripes, and the logo features a ship to reflect the coastal suburb.
